CME Course (Estimated Time to complete 1 Hour)
Each CME course should take 1 hour to complete. For those courses that are comprised of more than one quiz, the time to complete a course will be longer than the standard 1 hour.

Each CME course consists of the following modules:

Specific CME courses within
The Oncologist CME Online can be accessed through the following interfaces:
- The Oncologist journal issue Table of Contents - Articles associated with a given CME course will be designated by a CME link adjacent to each article's title.
- All Courses - Navigation button provided at the top and bottom of each CME Online page that directs the user to a listing of CME courses segregated into topical categories.
The following instructions apply:
- Select the CME Course through one of the interfaces described above.
- Read the corresponding full-text article associated with the selected CME course in its entirety.
- Once you have completed the CME course/article, you can access the "CME Quiz" in one of the following ways:
- Select the "CME Quiz" link provided in the course description page.
- From The Oncologist journal site, select the "CME" link adjacent to the article title located in the Table of Contents section.
- Complete all questions provided on the CME Quiz. An accompanying HINT link will direct the user to the appropriate area of the article that contains the preferred answer. Select SUBMIT to process your score. Note: The CME system will not allow you to continue if any questions are left unanswered.
- If a passing score of 70% is not achieved, the user will be notified and required to retake the quiz.
- If a passing score of 70% or higher is achieved, then select the "Evaluate" link to evaluate the associated CME course. Note: The completion of the CME Evaluation form is mandatory. The system will not allow you to continue if any of the evaluation questions are left unanswered. Once the evaluation is submitted the CME credit will be issued.
- After completing the evaluation, select "The Oncologist CME Online Summary Report" to access your CME summary page that indicates credit earned along with a link to a printable copy of the CME certificate.
